Thamizharasi's mother who works as a housemaid has to support two younger children besides Thamizharasi. Thamizharasi is a very brilliant student. She is a very ambitious child and hopes to go to medical school one day. Her 7th grade teacher at at the Panchayat Union Middle School, Melkondayar recognised this young and ambitious child and brought her to our attention. We in turn were helped by Sivakumar, Chicago.

Sivakumar is a Project manager in the IT industry and married to Seema. Sivakumar in his own words explains his reason to support us. "Both of us feel that we need to do our part in helping others to whatever small extend possible. We truly believe in the joy of giving back."

Lavnya's mother is a landless agricultural labor and her father is no more. She is in the 6th grade at the Panchayat Union Middle School,Komakkampedu. Kalathils from New Jersey came to her rescue.

Kalathil "We are a couple from New Jersey and sponsor a child through this program. We are delighted and extremely thankful for this opportunity to help give hope to one of these beautiful children. Investing in these kids' lives is a wonderful thing."
